Village at Alpine Valley and Roaring Fork Dining Hall

Inspired Living

Village at Alpine Valley - Featuring three residence halls named after Colorado Rivers, the Village at Alpine Valley offers UCCS students a first-year experience set in the heart of the Colorado Rockies. Suite-style rooms are complimented with lounges that take in sweeping mountain views as well as classrooms for study time. Residence Life offices along with a laundry, mailroom, main lobby, and front desk are located on the first level of one of the halls. Each corridor terminates with a glassy alcove that frames views of the Village. Featuring 515 beds in suite-style arrangements, the LEED Gold project is being completed in two phases–August 2015 and Summer 2016.

Roaring Fork Dining Hall - Featuring sweeping views of Pikes Peak and nearby Pulpit Rock, the 36,000 SF, 400-seat Roaring Fork dining hall provides a wide range of features on two levels. The marketplace-style servery offers six dining platforms, a C-store and catering kitchen, and a scratch bakery. Additional special features include a covered outdoor dining terrace and a multipurpose meeting room for events. Custom terrazzo flooring was designed by local Colorado artist Carolyn Braaksma of Braaksma Design.
