Novant Health is welcoming a new era in healthcare and selected KSQ to help bring this new era to life with the creation of Novant Health Clemmons Medical Center–a 24/7 medical facility providing emergency healthcare to Clemmons, Davie, Lewisville, and the surrounding North Carolina areas. The Center is part of a master plan for the 124-acre Village Point, and a site zoned to include a 50-bed hospital and medical facilities, an elementary school, a 17-acre pond, four miles of greenway trails, and tree-lined streets with bike lanes.

KSQ developed a new prototypical design for this 50-bed hospital and created a free-standing emergency department that pushes emergency services into the community to shorten drive times and offer convenience to patients. KSQ’s design includes three distinct entrances for each of the three departments within the building.

The first floor has laboratory space and the emergency department consisting of 12 exam rooms, five observation rooms, x-ray imaging, a mobile MRI pad and a CT scanner. The Ambulatory Care Center is located on the second floor with 11 pre-op and post-op rooms, two operating rooms, sterile processing and staff locker rooms. The third floor is an infrastructure penthouse for MEP equipment.
