KSQ SELECTED FOR WAVENY HOUSE PHASE I

KSQ was unanimously selected by the Town of New Canaan Board of Selectmen to provide architectural services for the Waveny House Phase I repairs. William Tubby was the original architect of Waveny House (built in 1912) and Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr., was the landscape architect of the original residence now surrounded by 300 acres of fields, ponds and trail. Waveny House–an official municipal building managed by New Canaan's Parks and Recreation–is used for cultural, social and civic events. Actor Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future, Taxi, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest) grew up in the house, and it was featured in the 2004 remake of The Stepford Wives and for exterior shots for All My Children (as the fictional Cortlandt Manor). Additional project details can be found in this New Canaanite article. KSQ recently completed the historic renovation and addition of the New Canaan Town Hall (see the project here).
