Summary:We are looking for a Electrical Engineer to be a key part of our Charlotte, NC office. Qualified candidates will be able to excel in a team environment, are passionate about their work, values their community and has a strong work ethic. As a valued member of our KSQ team, you'll have the opportunity to work on K12, collegiate student life, and multifamily housing, throughout all phases of the project life cycle to ensure a high quality product. The applicant will work as part of a team to create a project design that satisfies the client’s needs, regulate its progress, abide to all financial budgets and deadlines, and see the project to completion. Qualified candidates must be self-motivated, team players, interested in personal and professional growth and learning, and have excellent design and production skills. Compensation is commensurate with experience. This role is part of our engineering group, who support all company projects that require engineering expertise.
- Professional Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Must have PE licensure
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Ability to collaborate professionally with all project managers, clients, senior level staff, production team, and consultants
- Ability to perform lighting calculations
- Knowledge of NFPA-70, National Electric Code and NFPA-72, National Fire Alarm Code
- Ability to prepare electrical technical specifications in CSI format
- Strong proficiency in Revit preferred
- Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Word
